This is more than just a candle — it’s a tribute. Miles Elliot would have been my nephew and this loss has been felt hard by our family.
Anencephaly is a rare, fatal birth defect in which a baby’s brain and skull do not fully develop. Babies with anencephaly are often stillborn or live only for a short time after birth. There is no cure or treatment — but there is endless love for these precious lives.
Through this candle, we honor the deep grief, the bravery, and the everlasting bond between parents and their babies who are loved beyond measure.
Created in honor of Miles but for all babies lost too soon to Anencephaly, this candle is a symbol of love, memory, and the light they leave behind.
